Sugaring Services

What exactly is sugaring?

Sugaring is a practically painless hair removal treatment that has been practiced for centuries throughout the Middle East, Northern Africa and Greece. A gel or paste made from sugar, hot water and lemon is used to pull hair out of the roots. A natural alternative to lasers, sugaring is, by far, one of the most ancient and gentle techniques that lasts much longer than traditional waxing.

What is so great about sugaring?

Unlike traditional wax, sugaring only sticks to the hair, not the skin. That's why it really removes the hair out of the roots. Who wouldn't prefer using a wax that only pulls your hair – instead of your skin? That's the bottom line.

How will my skin look and feel?

In a word – amazing! Once you try it, you can truly feel and see the difference. With sugaring there's no need to worry about redness or bumpy irritation. We can't stress it enough: your skin will be as soft and smooth as a baby's bottom.

Our sugaring formula is made from 100% vegan organic ingredients which is also hypoallergenic and non-GMO. Our sugar paste is unique because it is a COLD paste which eliminates the risk for irritation and burns.

Am I a candidate for sugaring?

Even if sugaring is great for removing fine hair all over your body except eyebrows, it perfectly suits individuals with blonde peach fuzz and sensitive skin since it's less likely to cause irritation. To be a candidate for this marvelous treatment, your hair must be a quarter of an inch long so that the paste or gel is able to bind to the hair and pull it out at the root.

What is pre- and post-sugaring care?

Before your appointments, make sure the area you plan on sugaring is well exfoliated and oil-free. Post-sugaring, you must try to avoid exfoliation, hot water, the sauna and gym activity for at least 48 hours. Keep in mind that your skin is sensitive. You must always treat it nicely. After that time period, you are in the clear to exfoliate your skin to prevent in-grown hairs. You must also apply a gentle bikini balm or hydrocortisone cream in order to soothe any skin sensitivity. If any issues arise after a 48-hour period, you should see a dermatologist immediately.

What about regrowth?

When it comes to hair growing back, you stay fuzz-free for at least a couple of weeks, and the more you do the

treatment, the less your hair will grow back, letting you go longer between sessions. Also, it becomes less painful the third time around.
